  • Each of the 5 Sessions has a teaching component in which elements of the 12 CEG are explored and discussed concerning how they may present in the SCA exam
  • Q&A session to explore and clarify any Audience queries
  • Our tutors develop unique SCA cases based on real GP consultations and feedback from our trainees and educators
  • The cases are tailored to meet the SCA standard and cover all 12 clinical experience groups
  • The cases are detailed and developed to be responsive to individual trainee’s styles
  • To simulate the real exam, you will have a 3-minute brief reading time for each consultation and 12 minutes for the actual consultations
  • Timer will be made available on the Zoom platform
  • Paid actors to Simulate the SCA standard cases & random selection of audience members for participation in Cases
  • After each Consultation audience members will get marking aligned with RCGP SCA Domains and Capabilities
  • Areas of strength & weakness from the observed consultations will be explored and suggestions made for improvement

  • Weekdays:  Thursday, Friday. | Times: 7pm – 9:30pm
  • Weekend: Saturday & Sunday | Time 10am – 1:30pm

Volunteers for cases are selected based on who volunteers first after volunteering instructions are given at the start of the first day session, which starts 6:50pm  

Guaranteed one case per successful volunteer selected. 

All audience members are able to participate in the teaching section  and  Q&A. The audience will also be given access to SCA Exam example Scripts for their own learning.
